Sri Lanka’s January inflation slowed down marginally to stand at 6.8% compared to the 6.9% recorded during the month of December 2010.
During January last year the inflation stood at 6.5%.
Analyst says the country’s inflation is likely to see an upward trend during this year owing to the high commodity prices in the world market.
