The All Share Price Index of the Colombo Stock Exchange appreciated by 86.34 points today to end the trading day at 7,797 points.
However the MPI index which represents the 25 most capitalized firms of the CSE, depreciated by 28.43 points.
Institutional and high net worth investors were dominant throughout the day compared to retail investors.
