The International Cricket Council has withdrawn elite panel umpire Asad Rauf from the ICC Champions Trophy 2013 that will be staged in England and Wales from 6-23 June.

Sri Lanka will get US$ 580 million loan from China to finance its development projects, announced the Government’s Cabinet Spokesman.
Accordingly, Sri Lanka’s Ministry of Finance and Planning will enter into an MOU with China Development Bank Corporation in a bid to execute the proposed loan agreement.
The Cabinet of Ministers has approved the move.
