NTB appoints Ms. Renuka Fernando as new CEO, with effect from 15th September

Renuka Fernando new CEO of NTB from 15th September

Sri Lanka’s Nations Trust Bank PLC has decided to appoint Ms. Renuka Fernando as the Chief Executive Officer / Director of the Bank, with effect from 15th September, 2012.

NTB in a stock market filing issued said, she will take charge, on the completion of the contract of service of the Bank’s current Chief Executive Officer / Director Saliya Rajakaruna.

Fernando currently serves as the Deputy CEO of the NTB and has 19 years of banking industry experience behind her.

She also has held executive positions in Banks such as ABN AMRO.

Fernando is an Associate of Chartered Institute of Bankers, UK and possesses a diploma in business administration.

The latest appointment has been approved by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka.
