Sri Lanka’s Cargills PLC has entered into an agreement with US based T.G.I Friday’s Restaurant Inc. to be the exclusive franchisee of the firm here in Sri Lanka.
Cargills PLC says under this agreement with the US based firm; it will establish a T.G.I. Friday’s restaurant chain in Sri Lanka.
Accordingly, the company is planning to open the first T.G.I Friday’s Restaurant in the country by the fourth quarter of this year.
T.G.I Friday’s Inc. is a firm coming under the US based Carlson Group which operates 900 T.G.I Friday’s Restaurants in more than 60 countries.
Carlson is a global hospitality company with presence in 150 countries operating over 1,300 hotels including “Radisson Blu”, Radisson” and “Park Plaza”.
Sri Lanka’s Cargills PLC is a firm engaged in operating a chain of supermarkets in the country along with several other food and related businesses.
