Sri Lanka’s Securities and Exchange Commission says, the proposed changes to its act will help toughen laws against capital market offenders.
According to SEC Chairman, Dr. Nalaka Godahewa, the new act will give powers to the regulator to institute civil sanctions and administrative actions against capital offenders.
