Pakistani Foreign Secretary to visit Sri Lanka

Pakistani Foreign Secretary Jalil Abbas Jilani will arrive in Sri Lanka for a two day official visit on the 4th of April, announced the Pakistani embassy in the Island.

Iranian navy fleet docks at Colombo port

A fleet of Iranian Navy War Ships have docked at the Colombo port during yesterday, a media report said.

Sri Lanka has decided to extend the scholarships offered by its General Sir John Kotelawala Defense University to officer cadet’s of  Myanmar, Bhutan, Afghanistan and Vietnam.

UNHRC resolution against Sri Lanka adopted, India votes against SL

United Nations Human Rights Council in Geneva has adopted a US sponsored resolution brought against Sri Lanka, with 24 countries voting against the Island nation, including its neighbor India, a media report said.
