European Investment Bank to provide a Euro 90 million loan to SL

European Investment Bank has agreed to provide a Euro 90 million loan to Sri Lanka to finance the development of the country’s SME and the Green Energy sectors.

Cabinet of Ministers has given its approval to proceed with the activities relating to loan arrangements with the European Investment Bank.

The proposal has been brought to the cabinet by President Mahinda Rajapaksa, in his capacity as the Minister of Finance.
