Sri Lanka’s Treasury bill rates moves up at the weekly auction

Sri Lanka’s weekly Treasury bill auction saw the rates climbing up across the board.

The short term three month bill rates moved up 2 basis points from last weeks 11.35% to stand at 11.37% while the six month rate climbed to 12.91% from last weeks 12.87%.

The one year rate moved to 13.18% from last weeks rate of 13.15%.

The auction has been oversubscribed with bids received running up to Rs. 40.91 billion while the Central Bank have accepted Rs. 19.18 billion out of the auction to settle Rs. 18 billion worth of treasury bills.
