Sri Lanka’s inflation in May increases by 7%, highest in nine months

Sri Lanka’s inflation during the month of May increased by 7% the highest in the past nine months.

However, the year on year inflation was lesser than last years same months rate of 8.2%.

In April Sri Lanka’s inflation stood at 6.1%.

Average Annual Inflation during May recorded a figure of 5.6%.
