Sri Lanka’s six month Treasury bill rate moves up

Sri Lanka’s weekly Treasury bill auction held today saw the three and the one year rates remaining at last week’s level while the six month rate moved up by 2 basis points.

The six month rate moved from last week’s 12.85% to 12.87% during today’s auction.

The one year rate remained at 13.15% as the last week’s rate while the three month too remained as the last week’s rate of 11.35%.

Central Bank of Sri Lanka accepted Rs. 22 billion to settle Rs. 18 billion worth of maturing treasury bills.

The auction received Rs. 40 billion worth of bids.
