Sri Lanka says, it will not impose power cuts on Sunday in view of the Ramadan festival due on Sunday where Muslims will end a month long fasting with a feast for Eid al-Fitr.

Sri Lanka as of now impose a 3 hour and a 20 minute power cut across the Island daily, as one of the country’s main power generation plant has broken down.
