Treasury bill rates move up

Sri Lanka’s weekly Treasury bill auction held today saw rates across the board moving up.

Accordingly, the three month rate went up to 11.12% from last weeks 11.04% while the six month rate climbed up to 12.61% from 12.47% recorded last week.

The one year tenor bill moved up by 10 basis points from last week’s rate to reach 12.88%.

Central Bank in total has received Rs. 29.98 billion bids while it has accepted Rs. 11.79 billion to re-issue Rs. 15 billion worth of maturing treasury bills.
