Treasury bill rates go up

Sri Lanka’s weekly treasury bill auction saw the rates climbing across the board.

Accordingly, the 3 month rate rose to 9.31% from last weeks 9.51% while the six month rate rose to 9.64% from last weeks 9.44%.

The one year rate went up to 10.19% from 9.99% recorded during the previous week.

Central Bank has accepted Rs. 9.12 billion to settle Rs. 10 billion worth of maturing treasury bills out of Rs. 20 billion worth of bids, received by the auction.
