The trading at the Colombo bourse saw both indices recording negative gains.
All share price index came down by 77.46 and the Milanka Price index was down by 75.34.
The turnover came down to Rs. 1.91 billion.
1.58 million of Environmental resources shares have been sold with a share price going down by Rs. 10.50.
3.7 million Of Touchwood shares too has changed hands with its share price going down by Rs. 3.60.
626,000 shares of JKH have been traded at the bourse today.
Brokers say the market which was on a steady rise in the recent past saw “panic selling” today.
They say investors went into action following the Securities and Exchange Commissions move taken during this week which halted trading of certain stocks in the market.
On Monday a senior stock analyst warned that the CSE is currently on a bubble and cautioned investors to take precautions and not to burn their hands.

I am afraid the SEC is killing the day traders who have been the significant players in the market apart from the few crossings which are outside the market. Will the bears now dominate the market to bring it down?
