The All Share Price Index gained 94.88 points to close the day at 5785.17 points while the Milanka Price Index gained 52.20 points to end the days trading at 5961.52 points.

The market did well with investor interest on sectors such as banking, manufacturing, trading & diversified.

Buying interest was seen on counters such as REEF, RICH, TILE, LWL, RCL, HHL and
Some selected counters in the plantations sector such as KGAL and NAMU.

Foreign investor interest was onto the selling side generating a net outflow of
Rs. 290. 53mn.

JKH and MBSL were among the top 5 contributors to the day’s market turnover which saw recording a figure of Rs. 3.36 billion.
