Colombo Stock Exchange saw making gains by ending the day with ASPI gaining 1.1% to close at 4865 points.

MIlanka Price Index, however declined by just 0.3% to close the day’s trading at a range of 4328 points.

Volumes decreased by 37.4% to 24 million, whilst turnover increased by 26.1% to stand at Rs. 674 million.

1.7 million JKH shares were among the crossings that took place, while a JKH share was sold at Rs. 185.

JKH topped the turnover list with a contribution of Rs. 391 million to the day’s turnover.

There was a net foreign inflow of Rs. 110 million.

The gainers list was led by Citrus Leisure and PDL while Commercial Development and Nuwara Eliya led the losers list.
