Treasury bill rates continue to slide down further with the 1 year rate at the weekly auction held today declining to 7.87% from last weeks 8.08%.
The 3 month rate also saw coming down to 7.13% and the 6 month rate saw reducing to 7.80%.
The auction received Rs. 26.8 billion worth of bids which the Central Bank accepted in total.
The CBSL held today’s auction to re-issue Rs. 10 billion worth of maturing Treasury bills.
Sri Lanka’s Treasury bill rates which saw double digit levels during last year is on a steady decline.
