CBSL conducts the treasury bill auction

Sri Lanka’s weekly treasury bill auction held today saw the short term 3 month rate coming down by a basis point from last weeks rate to stand at 8.67% while the 6 month and the one year rates stood steady as the previous weeks rates.

The six month yield remained at 8.71% while the one year remained at 9.31%.

Central Bank has accepted Rs. 12.69 billion out of Rs. 26.43 billion worth of bids received for this weeks auction to settle Rs. 12 billion of maturing treasury bills.
