Vallibel Power starts a mini hydro project

Sri Lanka’s listed Vallibel Power Erathna PLC has started commercial operations of a another mini hydro-power plant.

The company says, it completed the construction work of the 4.65 MegaWatt Kiriwaneliya Mini Hydro Power Project, recently.

The plant comes under the “Country Energy Private Limited”, a subsidiary of Vallibel Power Erathna PLC.

    The Power business is a capital intensive high net profit industry. We can expect a jump in VPEL’s performance in the next financial year, as what I learnt the other 7.2MW plant also nearing completion.
