Brazil’s Gisele Bundchen has catwalked away with the crown of the world’s highest paid model, according to Forbes.
The annual list released yesterday by Forbes, covers models earnings for the 12 months to may 1st, with the top 10 raking in just under US$ 100 million combined.
Topping the list, the Brazilian beauty has earned a massive US$ 45 million mainly coming from contracts with the brands such as Varsace, Esprit and Pantene.
She also earns a percentage of profits on products bearing her name, such as with Ipanema flip-flops.
A distant second on the list is British supermodel Kate Moss, 38, with estimated earnings of $9.2 million driven by lucrative deals with Topshop, Rimmel and Mango.
Rounding out the top trio is another model in her 30s – Russian Natalia Vodianova with $8.6 million.
The 30-year-old mother of three is the face of perfume campaigns for Calvin Klein and Guerlain and also designs her own clothing lines.
