Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Mrs. J. Jayalalithaa has demanded from the Indian government to send back the nine Sri Lankan Air force officers who are currently in India taking part in a training program.

The SLAF officers have visited India as a part of an agreement existing between Sri Lanka and India.

The Air force officers have visited the Tambaram Air Force station in Chennai to take part in a nine month training course.

“It’s inappropriate when countries are demanding action against Lanka for violations during the war,” Jayalalithaa was quoted saying by Indian media reports.
