"Hot and Humid" conditons to prevail for another two weeks

Hot and humid conditions prevailing in many parts of the Island will continue for another two weeks, says the Weather Officials.

According to the Department of Meteorology, the hot and humid conditions have specially affected the Western and Southern provinces.

“This situation will go away once the Monsoon sets in where we will see stronger winds and thunder showers” G. B. Kariyawasam, the Director General of the Met Department told News360.lk.
