Sri Lanka Tourism has brought in structural changes to the organization through internal transfers of key executives.
Accordingly Dilip Mudadeniya who was the Managing Director of the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotions Bureau has been placed as the Head of Special Projects.
Mudadeniya now operates from the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority following his latest appointment, which is a newly designed post.
Meanwhile Malraj Kiriella has been appointed as the acting Managing Director of Sri Lanka Tourism Promotions Bureau for a 3 month period.
Upali De Silva who was attached to the Exhibition and Convention Bureau of Sri Lanka Tourism has been appointed as the “Director Events” under the SLTDA.
Sri Lanka Tourism is also currently on the hunt to attract new faces to run the operations as several positions in the organization has become vacant.
This has occurred as the contract periods of many of the contracted employees has expired since August.
Advertisement was published on Sunday news papers seeking applications to fill the vacancies.
Sri Lanka’s Tourism sector is showing signs of a boom following the end of the conflict.
